One of Brooklyn's highest-rated pizzerias, Paulie Gee's in Greenpoint, continues its franchise plans and has a new destination in mind — Cincinnati. And it's all because of a local Ohio entrepreneur, who hails from the East Coast.
" I know it sounds crazy, but I really became enamored with pizzerias that used wood-fired ovens," said Ryan Vaughan, who plans to open his Paulie Gee's outpost by late summer. "I didn't do it with the intention of opening my own pizzeria, but it was something fu n at the time."
