Chef Art Pour will open Rose Italian Kitchen in Solon, adding to its stable of restaurants in Northeast Ohio. The company is viewing Rose as a "potential growth concept," so the restaurant could expand to other locations much like the company has done with Burntwood Tavern.
The restaurant is scheduled to open Monday, April 30, at 6140 Som Center Road in the former Pacos Tacos, which also was owned by Chef Art Pour for more than a year. It closed in 2016. The restaurant initially was going to be called Rosina's, but a rep for Chef Art Pour said the owners changed it after learning the name was trademarked by a company in New York.
