Sometimes you find the best food in unexpected places. On a recent work trip to the Indianapolis area, we were heading out of town and squeezed in one last stop that was a little off the beaten path. Perillo's Pizzeria is in the tiny town of New Salem, just a little bit outside of Indianapolis in Hendricks County. The owner is a native of Sicily and you can taste the love, knowledge and passion that goes into every slice of pizza, plate of pasta or handmade cannoli.
