Come ski season, foodies in Jackson Hole are going to have a new place to drink wine and eat Italian food. Orsetto Italian Bar and Eatery is slated to open after Thanksgiving, pending the construction renovation of the old Great Harvest Bread Company space at 155 Center St.

It's concocted by the people who brought you Cafe Genevieve, Fred Peightal and chef Joshua Governale, who are spearheading the new endeavor, whose name means "little bear." To convert a counter service bakery into a full-service restaurant and bar has been no easy task. Peightal said the crew has taken the building down to "the studs" to create a new modern look.
