Steve D'Arpino says he's bringing the family business to Nixa. His parents have run D'Arpino's Italian Cafe in Springfield for more than a decade and Steve D'Arpino said he plans to have his restaurant Piccolo open for business by December.

"We're trying to bring some of the great Italian food to Nixa," he said, explaining that the city doesn't have much Italian fare. D'Arpino said Piccolo means "small" in Italian and the restaurant will be a casual, sit-down place.
