Garden City, KS–City Commissioners decided at Tuesday's meeting to accept a $10,000 bid from business partners out of southern California to buy the old American Legion building on Pine Street . Francesco Dorigo has owned a number of Italian restaurants out of state, now he will start one here.
The original bid of $1 for the Garden City Arts Council to buy the Legion building received some consideration from commissioners before they decided on the other offer.
