Condolences to City Park West and nearby residents on the loss of Il Posto. I know it hurts to lose your local spot for upscale Italian food — I'm right there with you. But its new location in River North is awfully nice. 26th and Larimer looks... different. Yes, it's very Nu Denver.
But Il Posto has been faithfully serving Denver for nearly a decade now, albeit in a more humble location. I won't begrudge them the upgraded digs. It's pretty inside. Enjoy a patio view without the wind and bugs and, at this time of year, the bitter cold.
