With locations downtown and southwest, Paninos has been one of the more recognizable and successful local restaurants in Colorado Springs for roughly 40 years.
Paninos Italian Restaurant, which has locations at 604 N. Tejon St. and 1721 S. 8th St., is adding a third restaurant along busy Powers Boulevard. It's slated to open in late July or early August in the former Johnny Carino's, southeast of Powers and South Carefree Circle in the First & Main Town Center.
