A former Rio Grande and The Kitchen employee plans to open his first restaurant concept just south of Old Town Fort Collins on Feb. 16. Nick's Homestyle will transform the closed Number 1 Chinese Super Buffet at 1100 S. College Ave. into a family-style, Italian-American restaurant.
New business owner Nick Doyle and partner Sam Flattery leased the 4,510 square-foot space in July; Doyle said they are completely renovating the building to include a new kitchen and parking lot, along with new windows, bathrooms and landscaping.
