A fast-casual Italian restaurant with a celebrity following has opened a satellite shop at the Mall of America. The Meatball Spot opened on the Bloomington mall's third level last Monday. The counter service-only concept offers four different meatballs, a salad menu and flatbreads.
It's the first location outside of Las Vegas, said Bobby Sabas, director of operations at the restaurant's parent company, HIG Management.
