Bertucci’s, the New England restaurant brand, plans to open a Bertucci’s Pronto offshoot this spring in the Boston Government Center, the company said Monday. Bertucci’s, owned by Earl Enterprises, said the Pronto location will be designed to offer an expedited, take-out-friendly dining experience “without sacrificing the quality and taste Bertucci’s is known for,” the company said in a statement.
The company said Pronto will also offer local delivery, catering to the business community. Bertucci’s Restaurants filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in December 2020 for the second time in four years, citing pandemic and inflation-related fiscal challenges, according to the court documents filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.
