When you visit Mike’s Pastry in Boston’s North End, it’s quite typical to see, on any given day, a line out the door. While Mike’s offers a wide variety of delectable goodies including gelato, it’s their cannoli that have the real cult following in Massachusetts. So, if you’re a fan of cannoli, there’s no better place to get some than at Mike’s Pastry.
Since 1946, Mike's Pastry in the North End of Boston has been a fixture. This Italian bakery and pastry shop has also established quite a cult following especially for one type of pastry it offers. Michael "Mike" Mercogliano, who founded Mike's Pastry, created a unique type of cannoli that you just can't find anywhere else. Over time, word spread and his shop became a popular place to purchase this sweet Italian treat.
