So the editor calls me into her office the other day. I assume it’s the usual (slamming her fist on the desk and demanding “pictures of Spider-Man”). Instead, she asks me to drive out to Lincoln, R.I., to Trattoria Romana. Some days when life seems crummy, I try to remember that once in a while my boss tells me to go eat pasta for an afternoon. Yes, ma’am.
Trattoria Romana is an Italian restaurant near the Lincoln Mall and Twin River Casino — and with Twin River opening a new casino this summer in Tiverton, Trattoria Romana will be tagging along as part of the casino complex. My mission: see what we can expect from our new neighbors.
