As he pointed to damage caused by a fire that ripped through a portion Carbone's restaurant on Cedar Street Monday afternoon, owner Peter Carbone offered a prediction. "I am going to be optimistic and say we'll be open in three to four weeks," he said.
The inside of the lounge is missing all its ceiling titles and recessed lights were left dangling as ServPro employees continued the initial cleanup Tuesday afternoon. "This whole area is going," Carbone said. The three-alarm fire, which sparked around 5:20 p.m. in the men's restroom, gutted the restaurant's restrooms and lounge area.
