Located in a small restaurant space on Springfield Street in Feeding Hills, Lineage Italian Bistro opened in October of last year, making it one of the region's newer dining options. Perhaps it's more accurate to describe Lineage's arrival on the scene as an "evolution" rather than an opening, since the establishment's two principals, Jennifer and Teraesa Chagnon, collaborated closely with the owner of the restaurant that Lineage replaced to bring about a nearly seamless operating transition.
Lineage's interior has been newly decorated and otherwise freshened up, but those familiar with the venue will find the space familiar. The bill of fare at Lineage lists 15 different entree selections, an assortment that's supplemented by nightly blackboard specials. Among the always-available options are Beef Tenderloin Marsala ($25), Shrimp Fra Diavolo ($20), Chicken Parmesan ($18), and Homemade Lasagna ($14).
