While I’m not set to endorse Bella Pasta Ristorante’s motto of “A piece of Italy in Pawtucket,” I’m happy to attest to their solid menu of Italian-American food. I had a long day at the office and then a disappointing visit in search of my next hidden treasure when I remembered Bella Pasta. They had recently left their tiny space and moved into new digs on Newport Avenue. I steered my car that way and found all the comfort a woman could need.
I’ve reviewed two, maybe three other restaurants that occupied the space previously, but I left convinced that they will be there for a long time. I found what I needed in fried mozzarella with a nice marinara, a fresh Caesar salad and my beloved go-to pasta, gnocchi.
