Smoked prosciutto, Buffalo mozzarella, gorgonzola, mortadella, Zeppole di San Giuseppe. Cafe Gelato opened in the West of Chestnut development on Chestnut Street almost five years ago, and has since enjoyed a steady stream of espresso lovers, sandwich connoisseurs and those looking for a delicious sweet treat. When the pandemic slammed into local restaurants and caused a major dip in customers, owner Giancarlo Baldini said he knew it was time for a revamp.
