A North End restaurant that closed for renovations back in January will reopen this spring, but with a new name and a new concept. Sfizi specialized in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine and was a member of the DePasquale Ventures family, along with Mare, Trattoria Il Panino, Quattro, and Bricco. The group is overseen by Frank DePasquale, who will soon unveil the new concept, Aquapazza, at 135 Richmond St.
It will feature a seafood-centric menu of Italian dishes, as Boston Restaurant Talk reported. The Sfizi website now redirects to a page that indicates Aquapazza will be “coming soon,” and a Facebook page for the new restaurant describes it as a casual “Italian kitchen and oyster bar.”
