Casa Belvedere is very pleased to announce the arrival of Chef Frank Bilotti as the Italian Cultural Foundation's new, young, dynamic, creative and talented Executive Chef. Most recently, Chef Bilotti was at Bin 5, the fifth establishment in the Da Noi collection of restaurants.
"The entire team at Casa Belvedere is looking forward to working with Chef Bilotti" said Gina Biancardi, President and Founder of Casa Belvedere. "Chef Frank's cuisine will bring our members-only, private dining club to the next level of excellence. Add superb cuisine and great service to the stunning backdrop of The Verrazano Bridge and New York Harbor, and I anticipate that our Belvedere Club members will be very pleased."
Frank Bilotti is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, one of the nation's leading culinary schools, located in Providence, RI. His culinary style, which includes many creative, and masterfully crafted dishes can be called nothing less than art on a plate, and always impeccably flavored. Frank is on his way to becoming a celebrity chef in his own right, certainly an aspiration that Casa Belvedere supports and encourages.
When Chef Frank was asked how he feels about the transition from a smaller restaurant to someday serving hundreds of people in the 14,000 square foot mansion, Chef Frank's response was "I am really pleased to be joining forces with Casa Belvedere and taking the role of Executive Chef. There is unlimited potential here for great cuisine, and wonderful people to enjoy my cooking. That would make any chef proud."
Chef Frank is deeply inspired by the ethos of non-formal hospitality. His approach is based on honest Italian cuisine, founded on quality, the excellent selection of seasonal raw materials, and simplicity. A highly varied gastronomic offer that is derived from authentic Italian menus, yet interprets them using local ingredients according to their integrity and quality. What distinguishes Bilotti's approach to dining is a unique concept for those who seek to combine the delights of a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere with polite and responsive service, and, of course, excellent, fresh cuisine. An original range of contemporary, classical and creative cuisine with Southern Italian and Tuscan influences, based on rare and high quality ingredients, and impeccable Italian taste, Chef Bilotti makes cuisine at Casa Belvedere, a constant source of delight and surprise.
As Casa Belvedere expands its professional culinary team, while simultaneously adding a top notch commercial kitchen to its facility, a wider range of dining and cooking opportunities will soon be available. There's something for everyone to enjoy, from cooking classes and demos by our exceptional teachers and guest chefs to celebrations and uniquely special events held in "Cucina Colavita," our state-of-the-art gastronomic center.
Starting May 16th, Belvedere Club members and their guests, as well as prospective members, can sample Chef Frank's exquisite culinary creations while enjoying the breathtaking view on the terrazza of Casa Belvedere.
