It's a bar. It's an Italian restaurant. It's the new Fatso's XL. The new extra large Fatso's opened recently at 2351 Buffalo Road, the site of the old Rookie's. It's just down the road from its original location at 1370 Buffalo Road.
After three years in business, owner Mike Angora decided it was time to expand the popular restaurant, bar and neighborhood hang out. He named the restaurant after his friend George Laure, nicknamed Fatso, with a caricature of his friend in promotional materials. Laure died from complications due to cancer in 2015.
