The Syracuse area has more than its share of Italian restaurants, some of which have had a loyal following for many years. Grimaldi's, in East Syracuse, is one of those. Located near the hotels around Carrier Circle, the restaurant also attracts plenty of guests from out of town.
Even on a weeknight, the restaurant was full by 7:30. Fortunately, they do take reservations, even for just two. You won't find any "small plates" on the menu at Grimaldi's. In fact, even though we shared an appetizer, we ended up taking home more than half of what we ordered.
