An Italian restaurant that took the place of a pizzeria is now open for business in Brookhaven. Amore Kitchen & Bar is located in the Town Brookhaven development in a space previously occupied by Ohio-based chain PizzaFire, which closed in November.
The restaurant, which also has a location in Stamford, Conn., is owned by Bruno DiFabio, who has appeared on the Food Network several times and won the World Pizza Cup in Naples in 2008, according to Amore’s website.
