After a $100 million renovation, the flagship Loews Regency Hotel will reopen with a new Italian restaurant and bar on Jan. 16, 2014.
Dan Silverman, who was executive chef at The Standard Grill at The Standard, High Line Hotel, is in charge of the hotel's yet-to-be-named Italian grill restaurant, new lobby bar, and famed "Power Breakfast," according to a Loews Hotel press release. The Power Breakfast is a concept the hotel's owners created in 1975, which affords diners the chance to dine among some of Manhattan's most powerful professionals.
