On Sunday, South Water Street bustled with activity at the grand opening of Macelleria Greenwich. Co-owner Anthony Lala and his brother, Frank, greeted diners at the red-carpeted entrance with drinks and good spirits. The brand new Italian steakhouse in Greenwich is the third in the area, along with renowned locations in Armonk and Pelham, New York.
Earlier this year, Macelleria Pelham was featured in the annual Michelin Guide for its “can’t-miss menu,” food quality, and reasonable prices. At the grand opening on Sunday, Frank Lala attested to that recognition. “We give you nothing but satisfaction. The food is excellent, and we have top-quality meats and top-quality drinks. Everything is top shelf,” said Lala.
