The perfect pick-me-up for the coldest month of the year is almost here. Next week, over 100 Italian restaurants will participate in New York City's annual Restaurant Week. This year's lineup of Italian restaurants represents all five boroughs and an array of cuisines, from Milanese fine dining at Casa Lever to family-style Southern Italian spreads at Mario's in the Bronx. The list also includes a few pizzerias.
The program runs from January 25 - 31 with an optional extension through February 7. Restaurants will offer prix-fixe menus of an entrée and a side for both lunch and dinner in a to-go format. The set price is $20.21. Mastercard holders can expect additional savings. Fred Dixon, the president and CEO of NYC & Company, shared a gentle reminder about the critical timing of the festival.
