Mike Pietrocola, whose culinary career was spent mostly in the Schenectady-Saratoga area until he opened Pastina Bistro in Albany nearly two years ago, is leaving town. He told me today that he is moving Pastina to Delmar, in the former Twisted Vine Wine & Tap, which shut down its Four Corners restaurant in June.
Pietrocola said the new 384 Kenwood Avenue site, which he hopes to debut sometime in November, is slightly larger than his current Colvin Avenue quarters, giving him room for another 10 to 12 seats, plus a 12-stool bar he'll put into service when he gets a wine and beer license.
