It’s been a long time coming, but chef Tim Grandinetti’s homage to his Italian great-grandfather is finally ready. Quanto Basta Italian Eatery & Wine Bar will open March 5 at 680 West Fourth St., just a block away from Grandinetti’s first restaurant, Spring House Kitchen, Restaurant & Bar. Both restaurants are partnerships with Lynn and Lynette Murphy.
The Italian phrase 'quanto basta' means 'enough' or 'as required' and is often used in recipes to indicate that the cook should season to taste.
