Bellini's Bistro has opened in a longtime restaurant space a few steps away from Kleinhans Music Hall. The building at 350 Pennsylvania St., across the street from the hall's backside, was formerly Prospero and Coda. Owners Susan and Mike Navarro opened not quite two weeks ago, offering a compact, Italian-centered menu, and a selection of wine and beer.

Appetizers include spinach and herb-crusted scallops Rockefeller, with a Gruyere potato cake ($13), and meatballs in spicy arrabiata sauce with banana pepper cheese crostini ($12). Entrees include chicken saltimbocca with asiago cheese, prosciutto and beurre blanc ($18) and duck breast au poivre, with saffron risotto ($24).
