When the snow outside is furiously falling and temperatures are dropping by the minute, certain kinds of cooking can warm the soul from the inside out. For me, Italian comfort food is surely one of them, so I was happy when my friend and I found ourselves at Lemoncello in East Rochester during the very first big snowfall of the season.

It may have been a quiet Sunday but we weren't the only hungry folks who ventured out for a hearty meal as several other tables were also occupied. Live music featuring local musicians is a popular draw at Lemoncello most nights of the week.
