Louis Lanza's name is practically synonymouswith Peekskill restaurants. The longtime restaurateur behind the Hudson Hospitality Group owns Fin & Brew, River Outpost (part of the Factoria complex), Taco Dive Bar and Bajarito, and has his hand in everything from the Paramount Theater and Arts10566, to the Boys and Girls Club and the Railroad Avenue Maker’s Market by the train station.
Now, he's rebranded what had been The Hudson Room to Rocco's Downtown. The 145-seat Italian restaurant opens for dinner Oct. 6 but will offer bar bites only (starting at 5 p.m.) Sept. 30 to accommodate those going to the Kevin Nealon show at the Paramount next door.
