A restaurant serving traditional Italian dishes is now open in Menands, New York, a village outside of the city of Albany. Jessica Lamoreaux and Christian Lofaro opened IL FARO, a restaurant and bar, for full service this week. They moved to the region from Manhattan to open a restaurant.
"We figure we're close enough to Albany, but everyone we meet in Menands has been so nice," Lamoreaux said. She runs the front of the house. Lofaro is the executive chef.
