Cousin Vinny’s, a New York-style deli, has its sights set on Seminole Heights in the city of Tampa. I’m in favor of any restaurant that reminds me of one of my all-time favorite films. The owners are bringing massive, piping hot Italian sandwiches to the city of Tampa, and delivering them direct to your door. This is a passion project for executive Chef and co-founder Vinny Andriotti, and Head of Operations and co-founder “Cuz” Russ Leone.
That’s right, the sandwich hot spot Cousin Vinny’s will be delivery only, at least in its early stages. They’ve recently released their menu and it’s pure NY fire. The Mambo Italian appears to be the show stealer. This behemoth is stacked with salami, prosciutto, eggplant cutlet, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, pesto, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar. You could probably squeeze a couple of meals out of that signature sammie.
