Giovanni di Palma hopes to open Antico Pizza in Sandy Springs and debut Vespa-style food carts

By: Carly Cooper

Antico Pizza Napoletana founder Giovanni di Palma has plans to expand his Neapolitan pizza empire to Sandy Springs. He’s filed a permit and intends to acquire the land where the former 4 Seasons Pottery place sat, near Hammond and Roswell roads, as reported earlier this month by Reporter Newspapers.

As long as the city grants him a variance to build, he plans to create a family-friendly pizza spot complete with Vespa-style food carts (see photo below) and an indoor/outdoor beer and wine bar. The Sandy Springs Antico would open in early spring 2019.
