Zack Sklar recently brought upscale French cuisine to downtown Birmingham with the opening of Au Cochon at the Palladium Building in September. Now, he's preparing to open an Italian eatery at the Palladium called Arthur Avenue. The new restaurant opens to the public for dinner on Tuesday.
"Arthur Avenue in the Bronx stays true to its Italian roots," said Sklar, who developed the menu with Executive Chef Mark Barbarich. "Here in Birmingham, our diners will enjoy amazing food and cocktails as part of a genuine Little Italy neighborhood restaurant experience."
