An Italian restaurant concept will open its first Alabama location later this summer in Mountain Brook. MidiCi, the Neapolitan Pizza Company, will open in Lane Parke in August. We previously reported that the franchise location will be located at 270 Rele St.
Information from MidiCi (which means "You tell me," in Italian) said franchisee Lane Carrick chose the Birmingham market "for its unique energy, thriving social scene and development focus." The restaurant is known for its Neapolitan pizzas and also serves appetizers, salads and desserts. MidiCi's will include an imported Italian wood-burning oven from Naples and an indoor live olive tree.
