Looks like that complimentary dish of focaccia and roasted garlic will arrive on PGA Boulevard as scheduled, Prezzo fans. The revived 90s-era Italian restaurant will open its doors Friday. The opening marks the return of the restaurant brand to Palm Beach Gardens, where restaurateur Burt Rapoport and then business partner Dennis Max opened a Prezzo in the early 1990s.
Rapoport, who revived the concept four years ago in Boca Raton, is opening the new Gardens location with managing partner Eddie Pozzuoli. Prezzo makes its new debut at the PGA Commons plaza in the space most recently occupied by star chef Laurent Tourondel’s Scusi trattoria. Before that, the space housed Vic and Angelo’s for 14 years.
