Rustic Italian cookery has replaced modern Greek cuisine at Disney's Boardwalk Resort. In the space formerly occupied by Cat Cora's Kouzzina, Trattoria al Forno has emerged with local produce, wood-fired pizzas, housemade pastas and mozzarella, imported charcuterie and an Italian wine list representing Italy's 20 wine regions.
The 197-seat restaurant officially opened earlier this week. At a media preview I got a chance to check out the menu and sample a few of the dishes. I'll revisit in six weeks for full review, but at first glance this place has legs.
