Jon & Vinny’s, the wildly popular Los Angeles Italian-American restaurant known for its spicy fusilli and pizza, is heading to Miami with a new ‘residency’ at the Rubell Museum. The restaurant — from chefs and co-owners Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo, along with wine director Helen Johannesen — is set to open in the next few days in the museum’s Allapattah neighborhood, taking over the former Leku space.
“We’re beyond excited to bring this Jon & Vinny’s residency to Miami—it’s a true homecoming for us,” says Shook. “Florida isn’t just where we were born; it’s where we met and began our culinary journey. We worked together in various kitchens across Miami and our love of food led us out west to LA and now back here.”
