Sunday, May 19, 2019. 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., Bayou City Event Center, 9401 Knight Road, Houston TX 77045. With just three weeks to go before the 2nd Annual Authentic Italian Table/Houston Pasta Festival, we are thrilled to announce the participating venues and food experts.

The following are just some of the top Houston restaurants that will be sharing their favorite pastas at the May 19 event: B.B. Italia Kitchen & Bar, BOH Pasta, Bollo, Cane Rosso, Della Casa Pasta, DR Delicacy, Fresco Café Italiano, Harlem Road Texas BBQ, Lira Rossa Artisan Cheese, Mia Bella Trattoria, Mina Ristorante, Pepper Twins, ROMA, Tortoni Ristorante Italiano... More will be announced in the days leading up to the big event.

We are also pleased to share the news that the Pecorino DOP Consortium will also be participating with a tasting stand featuring a wide variety of fresh and aged Pecorino. The cheeses will be presented by a Pecorino expert, of course!

The Italian Cultural and Community Center will also be hosting a pasta cooking class for kids: Children will have the opportunity to make ravioli and learn a little bit of Italian with one of the center's top instructors.

Balani Custom Clothiers and Dolce Affeto Patisserie will be there as well.

And CultureMap food editor and restaurant critic Eric Sandler will be leading a panel that will feature Houston Chronicle food columnist J.C. Reid and Houston Food Blogger Collective president Renia Butler. Italian food historian and Houston Press contributor Jeremy Parzen will be presenting the group of Houston-based food authorities.

If you love pasta and Italian food, the Authentic Italian Table/Houston Pasta Festival (Sunday, May 19) is the place to be!
