Pizza enthusiasts, rejoice –– classic East Coast-style pizza will land in Plano this week, courtesy of Boston-born Dallas restaurateur Kenny Bowers.
Announced via release, Kenny's East Coast Pizza will open its doors at Park & Preston in the Berkeley Square shopping center. The concept is a natural evolution for Bowers, who first opened Kenny's Italian Kitchen back in 2011. The spot earned a measly one star from Dallas Morning News critic Leslie Brenner a few months after its opening, but the spot is still, five years later, frequently packed with neighborhood regulars.
