A national Italian ice brand that serves frozen treats will test a new cafe concept in Albuquerque.
Rita's Italian Ice, headquartered in Trevose, Pennsylvania, plans to expand its Italian ice and frozen custard offerings to include made-to-order doughnuts and coffee-based drinks.
The company said the new concept will allow it to capture more daytime customers, especially during breakfast hours.
