A family of Italian restaurants inspired by alfresco dining on the Amalfi Coast will open on the Broadway corridor near the Pearl this fall. San Antonio diners will meet Allora and Arrosta, two sister concepts by celebrated restaurateur Peter Selig, in a few months. Selig's San Antonio culinary career includes Biga, Acenar, and Maverick Texas Brasserie.
Allora, described as a sophisticated, "stylish, full-service coastal Italian restaurant," will have one of the city's largest spaces for alfresco dining on the ground-level of the Credit Human building at 1703 Broadway. Arrosta, the "fast-casual cafe or tavola calda," will be in the adjacent Oxbow building at 1803 Broadway. Both restaurants will extend the Pearl's footprint to the Broadway corridor.
