Saint Rocco’s New York Italian in Dallas

Dallas restaurateur Phil Romano, whose portfolio includes gourmet grocery Eatzi's and the Trinity Groves restaurant complex in West Dallas, knows his Italian-American. He not only conceived the Romano's Macaroni Grill chain, he imported a celebrated Italian restaurant to Dallas in 2004: New York's Il Mulino.

But Il Mulino lasted only two years, and Romano is no longer connected to Macaroni Grill. Saint Rocco's, his new concept at Trinity Groves, brings him back to familiar Italian-American turf. Given his experience, you'd expect Saint Rocco's to get it right, and it often does.
