More than 500 guests attended the Taste of Italy trade fair Grand Tasting on Monday, March 5 in Houston. More than 160 guests attended the sold-out seminars on Piedmont Wines, Texas BBQ and Lambrusco, and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar. The 144 exhibitors in attendance presented more than 1,000 products.
The Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Texas couldn’t be more thrilled with the results from this year’s event, the fourth since its inception. It was our largest gathering ever, both in terms of guests and exhibitors. And our presenters included some of Houston’s top chefs, restaurateurs, sommeliers, and writers. This year’s keynote speaker was Brian Larky, owner and founder of Dalla Terra, one of the leading importers of Italian wines in the U.S.
