This week, I went to a restaurant that I have gone to so many times. In fact, when I moved to Las Vegas in 2008 this was one of the first restaurants that I went to and it quickly became my go-to spot when I worked on the East side of town. It also was the restaurant that I took my wife Lori to for our first date. I’m not sure if it was me or the great meal but it got me a second date and as the saying goes, the rest is history.
Casa di Amore is located at 2850 E. Tropicana Ave. You know I love Old School Italian Food and Old School Vegas and Casa di Amore brings you both. While you are dining, they have live entertainment to enjoy. Nothing like someone singing an old Frank Sinatra song to set the mood. The walls are filled with vintage old pictures of Vegas and the Las Vegas Strip. Hotel marquees showing the current headliners from back in the day. It really is cool to see the all history on the walls of Casa di Amore.
