Man, sometimes you just need a slice of pizza. Am I right? Head to Nunzio’s Pizzeria and try the restaurant’s new house-made dough, prepared with aged sourdough for a crispy crunch. The sauce has also recently been upgraded, made in-house with fresh San Marzano tomatoes. Order Nunzio’s classic pies like meatball and ricotta, spinach and ricotta, or Italian sausage and pickled pepper.
A recently expanded menu features a baked Italian sandwich made with mozzarella and provolone cheeses, pepperoni, hard salami and pickled peppers, and a roast pork Italian sandwich with broccoli rabe, spinach and aged provolone cheese. Sides include fresh garlic knots and mozzarella sticks and a stand-out dish called baked pizza fries (an East Coast diner favorite).
