The owners of a local cannoli food truck are opening a brick-and-mortar location and expanding the menu. Caffè Sorrento is opening up shop this fall at 10668 West Overland Road in Boise, which is in the former Flour Child cake shop. Flour Child closed last December.
Caffè Sorrento owners Tony and Emma Curcuru also operate The Tony Cannoli — a food cart specializing in Sicilian artisan cannoli since 2018. The husband and wife duo’s newest venture will offer a variety of Italian pastries, including cannoli, fresh gelato and granita, and Genovese focaccia — served by the slice or as a sandwich.
