The Long Beach Peninsula is home to many wonders, from an amazing stretch of beach and a fabulous coastal biking and walking trail to charming small towns. But the area is also where you’ll find one of the best Italian restaurants in the state. MyCovio’s, a tiny eatery in even tinier Ocean Park, serves excellent meals in a small repurposed home.
This spot is my parent’s absolute favorite place to eat in the area. I’ve joined them several times and have been equally impressed. The menu offers an exciting array of classic and creative takes on Italian cuisine. Every dish is lovingly prepared, the service is top-notch, and the space is intimate and welcoming, making this a next-level dining experience.
