Meet Campana, a new pasta restaurant coming to Northeast Portland’s Grand Army Tavern

Grand Army Tavern, Northeast Portland’s neighborhood-friendly cocktail bar and restaurant, will turn its front room into a new pasta restaurant next month, The Oregonian/OregonLive has learned. The new restaurant, Campana, was born from the restaurant’s occasional pasta nights. It will start with just three nights of service a week. But this is more than some simple spaghetti feast at the local tavern.

Co-owners George Kaden and Annalisa Maceda came to Portland four years ago from New York City, where Kaden worked under celebrity chef Marco Canora at Hearth and Maceda managed The Tippler, a high-volume cocktail bar at Manhattan’s Chelsea Market.
