A new Italian spot has debuted in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Buckman, called Grassa, is located at 1375 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd. Grassa provides pasta dishes, with menu items ranging from Caesar salad to whipped potato agnolotti and grilled mustard greens. The casual, counter-service restaurant does not take reservations.
The new arrival has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp. Phil N., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 28, wrote, "Grassa has been hands down one of my favorite places in Portland since they opened."
